health care. As the demand for health care workers increases, due
to an aging population and longer life expectancies, qualified and
competent health care workers are valuable resources. Join the
exciting and skilled interdisciplinary team of professionals who care
for people of all ages. Classes currently offered include
introductory courses through training programs which will allow for
immediate employment upon completion.
Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)
Founded in 1976, this student organization’s mission is to promote
career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of
quality health care to all people. Students enrolled in health
sciences and technology courses are encouraged to join this
organization. In past years, the organization has attended health
science academies at the University of Utah as well as sponsored blood
drives at the local high school and participated in other service
projects.
